Do employees need to download an app?

No. CrewPunch works in any mobile browser. Employees just visit your company URL and clock in. No app store downloads required.

What if an employee isn’t on the schedule or shows up at a different work site?

CrewPunch is designed to adapt to reality. Unscheduled clock-ins are always allowed — no need to edit the schedule just so someone can punch in. And if an employee clocks in at one of your work sites that isn’t their usual assigned site, you can set CrewPunch to allow it and flag the entry for manager review instead of blocking the employee.

What happens to my bill if my team size changes?

As long as you’re under your tier’s employee cap, your monthly bill stays exactly the same — whether you have 15 employees or 45 on a Growth plan. No per-seat billing and no surprise charges when you hire for a busy season. If you grow past a tier cap, you’ll upgrade to the next tier and Stripe will prorate the difference for the remainder of the billing cycle.

How does GPS tracking work?

When employees clock in, their location is captured and stored with the time entry. If you enable geofencing, employees must be within one of your work sites to clock in. You can also choose whether a punch at the wrong assigned site is blocked outright or allowed and flagged for manager review.

Can I export data to my payroll system?

Yes. CrewPunch generates CSV reports with hours, overtime, and PTO that you can import into any payroll system like Gusto, QuickBooks, or ADP.

How many users can I add?

CrewPunch is flat-rate priced by tier, not per user. Starter ($25/mo) supports up to 10 users, Growth ($49/mo) up to 50, and Business ($79/mo) up to 150. Unlike per-seat tools, your bill doesn’t change when you hire or let someone go — as long as you’re under the tier cap, you pay the same. Need more than 150? Contact us for Enterprise pricing.

What about state break compliance?

All plans include state-specific meal and rest break tracking, including attestations, alerts, and audit trails to keep you compliant.
